Dante and Nevan

During Nevan's production, Dante and I had a few criteria:
1. It had to be shiny.
2. It had to be loud.
3. It had to conform to ACen's rules.

Criteria 1 and 2 were solved by Dante, who used a crackle tube as the neck, and loudspeakers hooked up to an iPod on the base.

Criteria 3 was a bit harder. ACen rules state "Prop must be below four (4) feet total length (unless able to fold), and must be within six inches of the body of the cosplayer."

This was solved by making Nevan fold. Nevan folds in two places: between the base and the neck, and between the neck and the cap at the top. As I remember, folded Nevan is 46" tall, and unfolded is about six feet tall. If you read all of this, thank you for listening to Nevan's specs.
